By roughly tracing the structure of everyone’s favorite surprise during winter, designer Sylvain Gerber created the Snowflake Speaker. He’s created something that visually contours the idea of clean sound – as pure as snow. There are no fancy covers or meshing. The speaker is stripped bare revealing all the intricate membranes highlighted by an eery glow. Technically the design is simple to execute by integrating the latest in flat membrane audio technology hiding all the electronics in the bottom of the speaker.
