A 26 feet (8 m) sculpture of Marilyn Monroe in her most famous pose was unveiled on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. It is made of stainless steel and aluminum, and weighs 15.5 tons. Sculptor Seward Johnson is in charge.
Passers wasted no time in putting up the skirt of an exaggerated view of the Monroe metropolitan network in the same position as it appeared in the 1955 film "The Seven Year Itch."
